I have known M since the 5th grade!! We used to play softball together, and we might have even gotten into a little bit of trouble together... (: If her little guy is anything like her, and his daddy WATCH OUT!!!
She is due in January, and I know that the entire family is so excited to finally meet this little guy.

Their wedding is in 2009 but they both travel for their jobs and weren't sure when they would be here together...
They were so much fun to be around and the photograph beautifully!

I am finally caught up and almost through with the holiday rush!
woo hoo!
I am cutting close to Christmas day.
If anyone has any orders to place they must be placed by December 31st. All the galleries will be coming down in January.
I am also booking for January and February 2008!!! Please email me to schedule your appointment.
I will have a special for the month of January as we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary of YCM on January 15th!!!!

And last but not least... some images from my shoot this weekend. Aren't they so much fun? Everyone piled onto mom and dad's bed!

sneak peak

Of the easiest shoots ever today!

I seriously could not have asked for better shoots today.
these are my good friends kids A and T...
They are usually rambunctious and full of energy, but they did so amazingly well for me today.
We got some great stuff!





next is C and C... brothers posing as a surprise for their parents. I know all photogs know how rare it is for a man to smile and look happy but I got two that could do it!!!
They were so laid back and fun to work with...
I think the last one would be neat to put in a brochure for their companies they own...

but at least i know it is there! (:

This has been a GREAT holiday season
here are some of my favorite images and composites from a few sessions I have done since the last entry... I have been busy editing and ordering and running around mailing things before the big day is here.

I love love love christmas!!
With all the rain over this past weekend, I was able to get the Christmas tree and some decorations up. Ian and I helped get some decorations up at my moms as well, and I found these great flap down pj's at www.pajamagram.com
they even have his initials on his tush. These are a few of the ones we took, but I dont want to ruin my holiday cards!!!! This will be Ian's second Christmas, and I am just amazed at how different it will be. He isn't just a blob sitting his chair, he will actually be able to run around and rip wrapping paper up. It will be so much fun!!

Jenn and Jacob

I am so excited to be the one that Jenn asked to do her maternity photos!!
I have known her since the 6 th grade, both of our parents are in the dental business and she is almost done with dental school!! She is having a baby girl in January, she had the best little belly and was up to do anything!
I hope you love them!

it's only been a month

and "miss a" is soooo big already!
This time I did her entire mom's side of the family... and next weekend it is her entire dad's side of the family!
we got some great shots of everyone while they were cooking their thanksgiving day dinner
it smelled so good!!!!! I can't wait for mine on Thursday

This the family I got to have fun with today!
We all laughed and had a good time, which was great since mom was super stress out. This was her Christmas present from her kids and hubby... and it has been 5 years since they had any pics done. they have been married for 11 years and mom and dad do not have any pics of themselves!!!
I also busted my butt, yes I do mean I fell down, in front of them today... it was GREAT!!!! (:

B man

This is B man... he is 7 months old and cute as can be!
He was so tired during our shoot, but we got some great shots.
Mom got her arm workout this day, they only way he would laugh is if she threw him in the air!!!
