pumpkin patch

we took ian to the pumpkin patch today
got these fun shots.
his favorite parts was ridding in the John Deere wagons... and sometimes pointing to a pumpkin!

I wish i had less flare on this one.. but he never pays attention to me when my camera is out, so i have to take his pic when i can!

hey! it's a canon lense 24-70... you shoot with nikon right? canon has an image stabilizer and i'm trying to decide if i want it or not. the 24-70 does not come with the IS but there is a 17-55 that does. but i'm afraid i won't have enough length with that one... decisions decisions. what would you suggest? i want at least a f2.8 and something thats short enough that i can use inside for newborns and families and such. anyways... got any advice?

canon has a fixed 50 but i use my zoom alot when chasing around kids so i think not having it would frustrate me. (which is another reason i'm thinking i need the image stabilizer) the lens i'm looking at is more than i spent on my camera so i'm wondering if i'm going to see that much of a diference... not that its not a great lens- i think i should have gone up a step or two when buying my camera. oh well... live and learn. do you have a second shooter when doing weddings? i've had a few people ask if i do them and it makes me TOTALY nervous to even think about doing one by myself and OF COURSE the people that have asked are asking about 200+ people at the weddings... YIKES! email me emilythurmond@yahoo.com
