Don't forget to send in your candidates!!!!

The holidays are a time for love, family and bringing joy to people's lives. I am so so so lucky to be able to bring joy into all of my clients lives through my lens, and in return I get the joy of watching a couple start their lives together and then start a family together... I am one of the first people to meet your newborn, and then I get to watch them turn into a toddler...
I am so excited to be apart of THIS organization this year... please please please if you are a photographer and want to give back, this is a great way to do it!!!

You know someone who's experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can't afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family's spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography -- $450 worth, to be exact. - They will get the CD of their session as well as a $150.00 print credit. Whether it's canvas or albums, or prints for Grandma, it's in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.
Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives HALF OFF their next session!!! What better reason to show some love could there possibly be?
The rules:
  • The Deadline for entries is 12.19.09
  • You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
  • The nominee must reside in the DFW Area.
  • Tell me who you know, what they're experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.
  • Leave a comment on the blog to let me know you have entered and email me at yourcandidmemories@gmail.com
The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve... Get nominating! I can't wait to read all of your entries!

I can't take credit for this... Click here to read about this epidemic. If you're a photographer maybe you could be a part of this? Maybe this is your way to give back this holiday season. Just an idea...
Thanks everyone! I'm am super excited to see how this affects one deserving family's lives.

Keller Newborn Photographer - Cashlyn 5 days old

I thought I would come up for air to show off these great newborn images!!! I still have tons and tons of great holiday sessions I want to show off so hang in there if you haven't seen yourself on here yet.
I loooove newborns... especially the chunky ones! Cashlyn weighed in at about 9.2 lbs if I remember correctly! She was so sweet and calm... even when her eyes were open she would just look around and take everything in. I walked in and her mom had one of their seating areas covered in hair accesories and clothing and pettiskirts! I was in HEAVEN
So enjoy this sweet baby girl! My dear friend Nikki made the hat featured here, so if you are interested in anything crochet or knitted contact her!

I love love looove this family!!! These guys are always up for anything, and we always have fun during our sessions. Mom usually just lets me take off with the kiddos and let's me do my thing, which is soooo nice! Plus it is not everyday that all four kids are a dream to photograph!
This year we wanted to try some funky western shots at the Stockyards... I think the images came out great!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the huge response to the Holiday Mini sessions! It is going to be a great turn out this year. I do have some times still open for anyone interested! Email me to schedule.

I also wanted to show off this cutie. I was so excited for this little one's Cake smash session! We had to reschedule a couple of times thanks to the 10 days of rain but FINALLY! I just love him!
He is seriously always happy and loves to smile.
Thanks for a wonderful morning!
Enjoy and I promise to blog more :)

Newborn Photographer - it's raining babies...

Yes I am still here!!! Sorry for the lack of blog posts... I think once you get so far behind you just kind of give up! I am going to try to keep up with this more though!
I have had some really great newborns this spring/summer. Here are a couple of images from each session in no particular order. I am so excited to watch these babies grow! I believe they were all around 4 to 6 days old for their sessions! Each and everyone of them gave me some major baby fever.. so thank you very much to all of my new mommies and daddies! :) Oh and my husband thanks you too...

First up is mister Jake! He was so alert but man, once he was out... HE WAS OUT. He let us stuff him in this tiny bowl without a sound of protest!

Then we have the precious Reagan... she was asleep the whole time, seriously shortest newborn session ever! I fell in love with her parents as soon as I met them... Can you say nicest family eeevvver?

And here is big girl Evie! She was over 9lbs and really made us work for her amazing images... but once she was asleep it was smooth sailing! Her parents were so patient and didn't mind spending their entire day with me :) I love love love this girls mommy... she is crafting me up some AH-MAZ-ING crochet/knit hats.

And last but not least is Johnathan... I have never ever, that I can remember, seen a blonde newborn. I have seen red, and bald and brown... but never blonde! This little boy was so sweet and slept the whole time for me... He didn't wake up once... and how can you not love a little boy that smiles in his sleep!

Thank you to all of my newborns and congrats to the families!!!
Enjoy!

I hope to see her for a cake smash session soon. * Hint Hint Holli! :) Big Brother was there so we did some family shots as well.. he is just too sweet with his little sister!Enjoy!

Next up is this great couple! We went out to the Canals for this shoot, and I think the photos are beautiful! These guys were so casual and seemed to be happy to just be together. I just love the one of them kissing with her leg up!!! Thanks for a great afternoon, I am so glad the rain stopped! Congrats to these two for their newly announced enagement as well.
