Is he really 8 months already?

Today I got to play with Jaden and his mom and dad today... is he not the cutest thing ever?
I love how chunky he is!!! We ended up shooting during his nap time, not on purpose, but he did really well! I love his expression in this first shot. I just want to squeeze those cheeks!! I promise we did get some smiles, I just didn't post them! I had so much fun with you guys and I can't wait for our Christmas shoot!

Lily 18 months

I CAN NOT believe that this little beauty is already 18 months... her mommy is one of my oldest and favorite clients, she is actually more of a friend. I photographed Lily's oldest sister at my old studio and was lucky enough to be able to stay in contact with the family afterward. It is a tradition to do a series of dancing shots for mom's wall, which is the first three images... can you believe that the first photo is actually the last one I took? When Lily was ready to pose, man was she ready!!! hahahah
I ran my vanilla cream action on these and really fell in love with the look it gave them, of course you may not be able to tell the difference here on lovely blogger... just take my word for it!

Liam is one!

I seriously can't believe how fast time is flying by me! Liam is turning one soon and I met up with him and his mommy and daddy last weekend for his cake shoot. Liam is EVERYWHERE... not just walking BUT RUNNING! I don't think I have seen a boy walk this early... did I mention he was RUNNING?

He wasn't too into his cake, but he did have lots of fun bouncing, and falling off, of this awesome green chair that we used. He had me cracking up the whole time! Did I mention he ran a lot?
I hope you love them and I can't wait for his official one year session next month!

I am so excited! and a prayer request

I just bought us tickets to see Playhouse Disney live in Waco!!! I know I know they aren't coming Dallas and Waco isn't that far away. All of Ian's favorite shows will be there...this will be a great Christmas present! The show is December 20th... I hope Ian loves it!






I also found out that a friend of mine's brother was seriously injured in a random drive by shooting in Grand Prairie last night. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. You can check out her blog HERE

Atley and Landon's cake session

Ian's little cousin Atley is almost One!! I just can't believe how fast the time has gone. It still feels like yesterday that I photographed her newborn session. I was so excited to have Atley play with her cake, and even more excited when her mommy asked if her friend Landon could come and play. He is just a couple of weeks older than Atley, so I figured it would be great! Well... all I can say is that we got some really great shots in between all the crying, screaming, falling down, cracker smooshing, eating and cake flinging. hahaha

Tami and Frank

I photographed this family early last week... they were so much fun and so nice!
I uploaded the composites because there are just so many great shots... The older girls are so sweet to their baby brother... it is so nice to see. Check out the composite of mom and dad, they love each other so much! I am so glad you love your photos Tami!!!

I am still here!

I know I have been MIA lately. I have several sessions to blog, I have just had some technical difficulties, as well as some personal...


We did celebrate Ian's second birthday on the 31st and it has just hit me like a ton of bricks. I can't believe how big he is, and how smart and independent he is. He likes to play in his room, with out mommy and daddy... he knows all of his colors, he can name all of his friends and family members... and he speaks in full sentences. Now if only I could get him to stop eating the paper off of his crayons. haha
I am just so amazed by him everyday, and watching him grow into this little man is amazing. Whenever I say "are you two?" he tells me "no Ian six" so I am not sure if that is my clue that I am in fact in TROUBLE! but when he does cute stuff like this below, I don't care! hahahah
I love you Ian!!!

Stay tuned, I have several cake sessions and a family session to blog! I will put those up asap. I am trying to enjoy my last slower month until January!
